What is basement? It's a cafe, it's a music venue, it's a recording studio and it's a WiFi hotspot. It's a safe, alcohol free, space for 12 to 19 year olds.

What goes on? Gigs, DJs, dance projects, film making, comedy and movie nights, plus there's an after school cafe. Some nights basement will be open until late.

Youth workers from YMCA and Oxygen are always around to talk to.
